Our Story
2008
Year of Built
Tambora Liveaboard was founded with a simple vision: to provide unparalleled experiences of the sea to avid scuba divers in Indonesia and marine enthusiasts. Our journey began when a group of divers, marine biologists, and hospitality experts came together with a shared passion for the ocean and its conservation. We realized that the best way to share our love for the underwater world was to create a Indonesia liveaboard experience that combined comfort, adventure, and education.
Our vessel, the M/V Tambora, was meticulously designed and built with these principles in mind. Launched into the pristine waters of Indonesia, the Tambora is a custom-crafted vessel that offers a perfect blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern amenities.
